Hey there! I’m Jessica, and you’ve made your way to the blog of Jessica Torres Photography, my little home on the web. I’m a photographer, dreamer, artist, crafter, and admirer of nature and design. I take pictures every day. I sometimes wonder if other people notice the same amazing beauty in the world that I do– from expansive nature panoramas to little vignettes in a thrift shop. Photography is my way of capturing these moments of beauty for myself and others.
My first camera was a pink Kodak 110-film camera when I was a kid. I have loved photography from that very first camera. I really started to hone my photography skills in 2008, when I bought my first DSLR. Digital photography makes it so much easier to play and learn, without waiting for film to develop! I use Lightroom and Photoshop to enhance my images, sometimes applying texture or making composite photographs if the mood strikes me.
I live in Idaho, and you’ll see gorgeous scenes from around my great state throughout my blog and shop.
I blog about photography and crafting and design and business and life.
I take lots of pictures. You can find my work in a bunch of places online, but here are a few to get you started:
